Southern River Square Shopping Centre proudly celebrated the official grand opening of KFC on Saturday, 13 June 2026, marking an exciting milestone for the centre and the wider Southern River community.
While the restaurant first opened its doors to customers last month, the official grand opening event provided an opportunity to formally welcome KFC to the centre and celebrate with the local community.
To mark the occasion, Local MP Terry Healy and Councillors Balli Singh and Malik Sajjad joined Aigle Royal Group CEO Brad Brashaw and Project Officer Josh Poli for the opening day festivities, alongside centre retailers, community members and local families.
The event created a vibrant atmosphere, with locals enjoying plenty finger lickin’ good giveaways throughout the day.
As part of the ongoing Aigle Royal Group development at Southern River Square, the new KFC restaurant further enhances the centre’s dining offering while also creating valuable local employment opportunities for the community.
